The school was founded in XIX century and the building we use now was constructed in 1900, in the most picturesque part of Budapest. The school is located on a busy main street of Budapest but from the windows we can enjoy sites of Buda Castle from one side and the park on the other. It’s a general co-educational school (Gimnázium) with about 450 students, aged between 14 and 18, from Budapest and the suburbs. Environmental studies are not a part of the curriculum. But last year we successfully launched two environmental projects- one connected with the local area and one international project run by WWF Austria.
